VA.gov has no VR&E office finder. Their facility locator covers hospitals and clinics but can’t filter for VR&E divisions. So we built one. 57 offices, searchable by state, with contact info the VA buries three clicks deep.
Find Your OfficeMost VR&E offices share the main VA phone line: 800-827-1000. That means you’ll navigate a phone tree designed by someone who’s never actually called it. When you get through, ask specifically for “Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment, Division 28.” That’s the internal designation. Using it signals you know what you’re talking about — and you’ll get transferred faster.
After applying online (VA Form 28-1900), you'll be scheduled for an orientation at your nearest VARO's VR&E division.
You'll be assigned a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor who develops your Individualized Written Rehabilitation Plan (IWRP).
