Important: Pathfinder Benefits provides educational information and coaching only. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. We do not prepare, present, or prosecute VA benefit claims. For claim assistance, contact a VA-accredited representative at va.gov/ogc/apps/accreditation.

1. Nature of Our Services

Pathfinder Benefits provides educational coaching, guidance, and resources to help veterans and their dependents understand and navigate VA education benefits, including but not limited to VR&E (Chapter 31), GI Bill®, and Chapter 35 DEA benefits. Our services are strictly educational in nature.

We do not:

Prepare, present, or prosecute VA benefit claims on your behalf
Provide legal advice or act as legal counsel
Guarantee approval of any VA benefit application or claim
Represent veterans before the VA or any government agency
Serve as a VA-accredited claims agent, attorney, or representative

Our services comply with 38 U.S.C. Chapter 59 and all applicable regulations governing veteran benefit assistance.

2. No Guarantees

While we provide expert education and guidance based on extensive experience with VA education benefits, we cannot and do not guarantee any specific outcomes, including but not limited to:

Approval of VR&E or any other VA benefit application
Specific disability rating determinations
Employment handicap or serious employment handicap findings
Approval of specific educational programs or institutions
Specific subsistence allowance amounts

Individual results vary based on each veteran’s unique circumstances, service history, disabilities, and VA determinations.

3. Eligibility Quiz Disclaimer

The eligibility quiz on our Site provides a general, informal assessment based on the information you provide. Quiz results are for educational purposes only and do not constitute a formal eligibility determination. Only a VA Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (VRC) can make official eligibility and entitlement determinations.

4. User Accounts and Purchases

When you purchase products or services, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Pay all fees associated with your purchase
Use our products and services for personal, non-commercial purposes only
Not share, resell, or redistribute our paid content without written permission

5. Refund Policy

Digital Products (Quick Start Guide, Application Toolkit): Due to the digital nature of these products, all sales are final. If you experience technical issues accessing your purchase, contact us at [email protected] and we will resolve the issue promptly.

Coaching Services (Counselor Meeting Prep, Success Academy, Concierge): If you are not satisfied with a coaching service, contact us within 7 days of your first session to discuss options. Refund eligibility for coaching services is determined on a case-by-case basis.

Free Resources: No refund applies to free products or resources.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, course materials, templates, worksheets, and software — is the property of Pathfinder Benefits LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.

7. User Conduct

When using our Site and services, you agree not to:

Provide false or misleading information
Use our services for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ accounts

Loss of benefits, income, or opportunities
Errors or omissions in our educational content

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pathfinder Benefits LLC, its owner, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your use of our Site or services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of Texas.
